​Hello, and welcome! Thanks so much for stopping by. A little about me: My name is Catherine and I'm a mom of two amazing kids that I love spending time with. I have enjoyed taking pictures since learning photography and working in the dark room in grade 7 and it became a passion.

 

As happens in life, instead of  being a photographer like I'd dreamed, I went to school to get a "real job" and after graduating with honours I went to work as a Social Service Worker, working with adult men in homeless shelter. I continued photography as a hobby/passion/self-care, mostly of my kids (right, moms?) but also with an eye to wildlife. I love candid, casual photography and I don't use photoshop or do heavy editing.

 

I have no pricing model because I have never thought of this as a "job". I will sell prints (price varies on size) and for each print of animal/nature/wildlife I will donate a portion of the proceeds to the David Suzuki Foundation. For any family or children's portrait sessions, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Ronald McDonald House, and engagement/wedding, a donation will be made to the charity of choice. Pet photography is also available and a donation will be made to All Breed Canine Rescue.
